The Federation of BiH’s Law on gender Equalty does not address the specific situation of victims of war crimes, however Article 17 prohibits ‘all forms of gender-based violence in public and private life’ and provides that competent authorities ‘shall provide instruments of protection, assistance and compensation to the victims.’ Art. 21 also provides for compensation for all gender-discriminatory acts covered in this law.
