This selection of reports reflects the dual focus of our project on Somalia: the documentation of crimes of sexual exploitation and abuse and the existing and developing legal structures that may be harnassed to address these crimes.
Our selection of articles focuses on very recent assesments of the legal context for prosecuting perpetrators and/or providing remedies for victims.
Caselaw on sexual and gender-based violence in Somalia is not readily accessible at the moment. We will be updating this page at regular intervals.
