International People’s Tribunal 1965 on Crimes against Humanity in Indonesia
The International People's Tribunal (IPT) will be holding a set of hearings in the Hague between 10 - 13 November from 9:00 - 17:00 daily at Nieuwe Kerk, Spui 175. A Panel of Judges will receive the evidence presented by a team of Prosecutors, who will call witnesses to testify. The prosecutors will present documents and audio-visual materials to support their plea. The aim of the People’s Tribunal is to shed light on the crimes committed beginning on 1 October 1965 and to push for processes of Truth, Justice, Reparations and Non-Recurrence.
